3. Communication & Engagement

Respond to customer inquiries in a timely, respectful manner.

Encourage customers to leave honest reviews without offering incentives in exchange for positive feedback.

Address negative feedback professionally, aiming to resolve issues constructively.

4. Updates & Maintenance

Review your listing regularly to ensure details remain accurate.

Remove outdated promotions, expired offers, or unavailable services.

For Consumers

1. Leaving Reviews

Reviews should be honest, respectful, and based on first-hand experiences.

Avoid personal attacks, offensive language, or unverified claims.

Constructive criticism is encouraged when it helps improve services.

2. Using the Directory

Use the search and category filters to find relevant businesses.

Contact businesses directly for specific questions, quotes, or service details.

Report any suspicious or inaccurate listings to our support team.

Prohibited Activities (For All Users)

Posting or promoting illegal products or services.

Harassing, threatening, or defaming individuals or businesses.

Using fake profiles or impersonating others.

Manipulating reviews (positive or negative) to mislead others.

Enforcement

Violations may result in warnings, content removal, or permanent account suspension.

Repeat offenses or serious breaches may lead to legal action if applicable.

Refund Policy for Paid Listings

Overview

Our premium listings — including Half Page Feature and Full Page Feature placements — are designed to provide enhanced visibility and promotional benefits to your business within the Anderson Creek Business Directory.


Because these listings involve dedicated design work, reserved advertising space, and immediate publication, our refund policy ensures fairness while protecting the value of our platform.

Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds only under the following circumstances:

Duplicate Payment – If you are accidentally charged more than once for the same listing.

Technical Error – If a technical issue on our end prevents your listing from going live within the agreed-upon timeframe.

Service Not Rendered – If we are unable to deliver your purchased listing or feature as described in our offer.

Non-Refundable Situations

No refunds will be issued if:

The listing has been designed, published, or promoted as agreed.

The business changes its mind after the listing is live.

The business closes, changes ownership, or discontinues services during the listing period.

The listing is removed due to a violation of our Community Guidelines.

Refund Process

Refund requests must be submitted in writing within 7 calendar days of purchase.

Requests should be sent to [email protected] with your business name, contact details, and proof of payment.

Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 10-12 business days.

Changes & Credits

In some cases, instead of a refund, we may offer a credit toward future advertising or listing upgrades.

Credits are valid for 6 months from the date of issuance.

9. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of North Carolina and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that State or location.
